Landsat 8-9 Operational Land Imager / Thermal Infrared Sensor Level-2, Collection 2
The Operational Land Imager (OLI) and Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS) are instruments onboard the Landsats 8 and 9 satellites, the first of which was launched in February of 2013. The satellites collect images of the Earth with a 16-day repeat cycle, referenced to the Worldwide Reference System-2. This dataset consists of Level-2 products that contain atmospherically corrected spectral reflectance data and atmospherically compensated surface temperature data processed from data acquired by these sensors. The data was derived from a lower level of processing, Collection 2 Level-1 products.
