Hydraulic model for flood-inundation maps for Rio de la Plata in and near Comerio, Puerto Rico

Water-surface elevations along the stream reach were estimated by steady-state hydraulic modeling, assuming unobstructed flow, and using streamflows and hydrologic conditions anticipated at the USGS streamgage (station number 50043800). The hydraulic model reflects the land-cover characteristics and any bridge, dam, levee, or other hydraulic structures existing as of February 2025. Hydrologic Engineering Center River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) version 6.3.1 was used for all analyses. The source files for HEC-RAS can be downloaded at https://www.hec.usace.army.mil/software/hec-ras/download.aspx. All hydraulic model input and output files can be found in the Model directory.
