Hydrological Simulation Program—FORTRAN (HSPF) user-control, input, and output files for simulation of hydrologic conditions in selected watersheds in Cameron County, Texas, 2022–23

The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the City of Brownsville, Texas, configured and calibrated a set of hydrologic models for a 217-square-mile study area in Cameron County in South Texas. The Hydrological Simulation Program—FORTRAN (HSPF) modeling system was used to simulate the hydrological conditions for the study area because it is one of the most comprehensive watershed models available and can simulate a wide variety of stream and watershed conditions with reasonable accuracy. This data release contains model control files and input and output data from hydrologic simulations of streamflow conditions for selected watersheds during 2022–23.
