    <descript>
Infinity water level recorders were installed in 2004 to monitor hydrologic conditions in five freshwater forested wetlands in Louisiana: Bayou Chevreuil, Bayou Teche National Wildlife Refuge, Mandalay National Wildlife Refuge, Jean Lafitte National and Historical Park, and Treasure Island. Hourly measurements were collected continuously on a 24- hour basis through April 2022, producing an extensive record of wetland hydrology. The dataset shows daily changes, flooding, and long-term shifts in water levels across the sites. It also provides a foundation for evaluating the impacts of climate variability and extreme events on Louisiana’s freshwater ecosystems.
      <purpose>The data was collected to determine flooding at each of the five freshwater forested wetland sites.</purpose>

      <attraccr>The water level values were recorded with Infinity water level recorders, which provide reliable measurements of relative changes in water levels. The gaps in the record were marked as missing data. While no direct comparison to surveyed reference levels was made, the data is considered accurate for showing water level patterns and trends over time.</attraccr>
    </attracc>
    <logic>Yes, the dataset matches the described monitoring records. Water levels fall within the expected range for freshwater forested wetlands in Louisiana, though gaps appear where instruments failed or data was not collected. The dataset was reviewed to avoid duplication, and the missing values are limited to recorded gaps. This dataset contains only time-series water level measurements and no geospatial layers; topology tests were not required.</logic>
    <complete>The dataset represents hourly water level measurements from five fixed freshwater forested wetland sites in Louisiana. It includes only hydrologic data from these specific locations and does not contain information regarding any other environmental variables.</complete>
