Waterfowl were observed staging at Nanvak Bay, Togiak National Wildlife Refuge in southwest Alaska between 31 August and 27 September 1992. This data release contains five tables including 1) aerial surveys, 2) band resights for Black Brant (Branta bernicla nigricans), 3) Black Brant age ratios, 4) bird migration observations, and 5) taxonomy table for observed birds.
<purpose>The objectives of the census were to: 1) read tarsal band and neck collar codes from marked geese, and 2) assist refuge staff in conducting daily waterfowl counts.</purpose>
<supplinf>The data presented in this data release were transcribed 'as-is' from the field datasheets. For a summary of activities, please refer to the report provided as supplementary material.</supplinf>
