    <descript>
The output data package for this data release includes tables with summary results from trend analysis of water quality data from streams in Puerto Rico. The files in this output data package include a summary of the results of 1) Mann-Kendall tests for the entire period of record for each parameter for each site, 2) Seasonal Mann-Kendall Trend tests on both unadjusted and streamflow adjusted concentrations for the entire period of record for each parameter for each site, and 3) Mann-Kendall Trend tests for the following two time periods for each parameter for each site: 2008-2022 (POR1), and 2013-2022 (POR2).
      <purpose>The main purpose of these datasets is to provide a summary of the results of all the trend test variations that were included as part of water quality trend analysis for selected streams across the island of Puerto Rico. These trends tests evaluate the data over time and the results indicates the direction (up or down) of the trend, the slope of the trend line, and if the trend is statistically significant.</purpose>
