The USGS computed streamflow during 2016 and 2017 at two sites – one on Bronson Creek (USGS station 453250122494501) and one on Fanno Creek (USGS station 452738122474100), which are tributaries to the Tualatin River in northwestern Oregon. The computed streamflows from the two aforementioned sites were then used to estimate the corresponding streamflow at two other sites- USGS station 453320122483701 (located upstream of the computed streamflow on Bronson Creek); and USGS station 452718122474700 (located downstream of the computed streamflow on Fanno Creek) The estimated streamflow was calculated by applying a scaling factor to the computed streamflow that reflected the difference in drainage areas between the sites in each stream.
<purpose>This data release documents the supporting information for an accompanying USGS Scientific Investigations Report “Beavers in the Tualatin River Basin, Oregon: 3. Effects on Sediment Transport and Deposition in Urban Streams (https://doi.org/10.3133/sir20225022C."</purpose>
<supplinf>The water level data collected during this study, and the data that were used to develop the site specific stage-streamflow relations (rating curves) are available from the USGS National Water Information System (NWIS).</supplinf>

<attraccr>The mean absolute error in the computed or estimated streamflow at all four stations was calculated based on the difference between measured (instantaneous) streamflow readings and the values obtained either from using the rating curves (for stations 453250122494501 and 452738122474100) or from scaling by the drainage area ratios (for stations 453320122483701 and 452718122474700). The calculated errors were based on streamflow values greater than one cubic foot per second. The rating curve used at station 453250122494501 (downstream station on Bronson Creek) had an estimated error of 27 percent, the rating curve used at station 452738122474100 (upstream station on Fanno Creek) had an estimated error of 24 percent, the drainage area ratio method used at station 453320122483701 (upstream station on Bronson Creek) had an estimated error of 41 percent, and the drainage area ratio method used at station 453320122483701 (downstream station on Fanno Creek) had an estimated error of 12 percent.</attraccr>
