The operational history of each well was used to distribute pumping to wells that were active during a particular month, while maintaining the pumping volumes reported for groups of wells. Prior to a MnI well being drilled or after a MnI well was destroyed, monthly pumping was specified as NaN. After a MnI well was drilled, if the well was actively pumping during a particular month the monthly rate was specified as a negative value (a MODFLOW convention), or if the well was not actively pumping during a particular month the monthly rate was specified as a zero value. If pumping rates were not available during the active pumping period of a well, pumping rates were repeated from the previous 12 months at a well. For the period November 1951 through October 1955, annual pumping volumes from SSPA (2007) for groups of wells were partitioned equally among active wells within these groups.
